Party in the City 2011 | Bath Guitar School Band

The Bath Guitar School Band surpassed all expectations this past May 27th with a fantastic performance in Bath’s Parade Gardens for the Bath International Music Festival’s Party in the City event. The band were on stage at 5pm, opening the festival in the gardens for the one night only free music festival in Bath.

For some of the band members, many under 10 years and still in primary school, this was their first ever gig and their performance began with Green Day’s ‘Brain Stew’, which led into T Rex’s ’20th Century Boy’ and finished with The Troggs ‘Wild Thing’.

The second half of the performance saw the teen band, who are now veterans in the Bath Guitar School Band, perform the aptly named hit single ‘Teenage Dirtbag’ by American band Wheatus, followed by a rocked up version of the #1 hit ‘Shut Up And Drive’ by R&B/Pop superstar Rihanna.
